Common questions
When does Trackbak check my journey?
Each time you open the app, Trackbak checks any journeys that have happened since you last looked. It reads the actual arrival time at your destination from National Rail's data. If the record isn't published yet, it tries again next time.
How is the compensation worked out?
Each train operator runs its own Delay Repay scheme, with its own delay thresholds and percentages, and a return ticket pays differently from a single. Trackbak applies the published scheme for the operator that ran your train to the ticket price you entered. The figure is an estimate: the operator makes the final decision when you claim.
My train was cancelled. Can I still claim?
Usually, yes. Trackbak records cancellations separately from delays and shows them on the Claims tab. What you're owed depends on when you eventually arrived, or whether you abandoned the journey.
Does Trackbak submit the claim for me?
No. Trackbak shows you which journeys qualify and links you to the right operator's claim page. You submit the claim yourself, then you can mark it as submitted and paid in the app to keep track.
A journey says "Delayed, but not claimable". Why?
Some operators only pay from 30 minutes, or longer, so a shorter delay won't qualify with them. The app shows the reason next to the journey.

How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete account. You can also delete it by email.
